Acura Legend Wet Nitrous Kits

The Acura Legend, is no longer in production today. That doesn't mean that it isn't around anymore. Quiet the opposite, these Acura owners are busying using nitrous kits to significantly increase HP output.

The N2o systems of today, are much more advanced than earlier stages of the kits. Thanks to the use of computers, and certain programs that can control the use of nitrous more efficiently.

Nitrous kits have a few uses. They can be connected to the intercooler of a turbo, connected to the radiator, or just shot into the manifold. Each of these uses can offer nitrous users plenty of power. The standard kits generally add about 50 - 75 HP gain on the normal stock engines.

Nitrous kits can be installed out of the box in a couple of hours and anyone with common sense can install this as well. Wet nitrous kits introduces fuel and nitrous together, causing the upper intake to become soaked with fuel. However, most makes of nitrous kits combined with unsuitable intake designs, often result in distribution problems and/or intake back fires. Nitrous kits tend to produce more power than dry kits, but in some cases can be more expensive and difficult to install. A suitable intake design for nitrous kits would be a wet flow intake pipe.

Past issues have been cleared up today, thanks to pre assembled kits from the factory. Nitrous kits offer users better HP gains for their dollar. Turbo kits cost thousands. For about 600 dollars, you can have a nitrous kit that will perform faster on the track than a 4 thousand dollar turbo kit. Nitrous is real power in a bottle. The racing scene has been using nitrous kits since the early 70's, mabey even the 60's.
