Honda CRX Delsol is a car that had a very short lived production life. That did not however stop these Honda owners from testing the waters with wet nitrous kits. These systems have been proven time and time again to make great amounts of power for little dollars.

This little sports car is the way to go for after market nitrous kits. These kits offer users anywhere from 25 HP to a 200 HP gain, depending on which kit you are running. These nitrous kits are very much safe to run on today's cars. Thanks to kits from companies like ZEX we now have hardware that can protect our engines. What is the point of having these fast cars if we can't protect our engines. There is no point, that's why there is equipment that can sort out engine failure errors before they happen. The kits are designed to read your A/F ratio and reduce or halt the amount of nitrous in the be shot out through the intake. The other safety feature is the WOT protection. This function allows you to only spray when you are at wide open throttle. For this very reason you need to only spray at WOT.

When you are in wide open throttle, your ECU is running on an open loop. Meaning that you are getting the most fuel dumped into the engine as the fuel injectors will allow you. This is excellent when mixing with nitrous. Nitrous is an oxidizing agent. It contains almost 3 times the amount of oxygen that we normally breathe.

Nitrous kits offer users many things. For one they are pretty inexpensive. For about 500 bucks you can have yourself a 75 HP increase in power. Now for a Turbo or N/A build, you would need at least 4 times that much.
