The nitrous purge kit allows you to get fresh N2o to the front of the system before racing. It allows the stale N2o to be sprayed into the atmosphere, while letting in a better amount of fresh N2o. This is good for many reasons.
- Stale N2o is released into the atmosphere
- Fresh N2o is purged to the front
- Fresh N2o is more potent
- More potent N2o carries more power in kits
Now a a couple different ways to install purge kits are simple. They all generally are installed in the engine bay. So you would have to pop your hood and purge your system before use. This is a very common method at the track. Racers generally like to get the most out of their kits, so in order to get the freshest N2o out of the bottle, they would purge their kits just moments before they are set to race.
Some kits enables you to purge a 15 ft cloud of colored N2o into the atmosphere. A showstopper that will turn heads everywhere. Gives you the look of a complete engine N2o system. Can be used to purge N2o from the hood area, the muffler, underneath the vehicle, you name it. Creates a wild purge cloud effect anywhere it is used. Some kits include a Purge Cloud LED. It is a focused beam, high-intensity LED light assembly, in red, green, or blue color, that lights-up the N2o purge cloud. Makes for an especially vibrant and colorful show at night and some awesome kits.
Have you ever seen one of these kits at the track, you can't miss them. Its like a bull snorting his nose at the man with the red cape. You know that you are dealing with a powerful machine when you see one of these kits. When you purge your N2o kits you are letting in all the fresh N2o, and out with the stale N2o. This will always be important when purging.
